YouTube
Google allows 100 uploads a day for the whole application, not per user, and raises it only after a compliance audit. This is the tightest limit in Xairo and the reason uploads are weighted at 8 credits.
YouTube’s own developer documentationXairo publishes
- Video uploads with title, description, tags and visibility
- Shorts
YouTube does not allow
- Editing an uploaded file
- Community posts
- Comment moderation
Account and connection
- Account required
- A YouTube channel you own, including brand accounts.
- Token lifetime
- Google access tokens last an hour and refresh automatically.
- How often you reconnect
- Only if you change your Google password or revoke access, or after six months of not using Xairo.
- Credit cost
- 8 for a post, 8 with a link, 8 for video.
Worth knowing
- Google grants upload quota to an application rather than to each user. Until our audit raises it, the whole of Xairo shares 100 uploads a day.
- A declined permission during sign-in produces an insufficient-permissions error later. Leave every toggle on.
