What each network allows

These are not our rules. Each one comes from the network's own developer documentation, linked in the table. Xairo reads them from the service at runtime, shows them in the app before you publish, and names the network rather than shrugging when one is reached.

FB

Facebook Pages

Their documentation

Facebook scales the allowance to the Page: 4,800 calls a day multiplied by the number of engaged users. Page tokens stop working after 90 days without activity.

Their limits

  • No published numeric cap; the network throttles dynamically

IG

Instagram

Their documentation

Instagram allows a limited number of API posts per professional account in a rolling 24 hours; the documentation says 100 in one place and 50 in another, so Xairo enforces the lower number. A carousel counts as one post.

Their limits

  • 50 posts per account in a rolling 24 hours

LinkedIn

Their documentation

LinkedIn does not publish its per-app or per-member limits and returns 429 when you reach them. Member tokens last 60 days and cannot be refreshed without a partner agreement, so expect to reconnect every two months.

Reddit

Their documentation

Reddit allows 100 queries per minute for the whole app, averaged over ten minutes. Reddit does not accept media uploads through this route, so posts are text or link submissions.

  • 100 per minute across every Xairo account

Threads

Their documentation

Threads allows 250 posts per profile in a rolling 24 hours. Media must be reachable at a public URL, which is why Xairo asks for one.

TT

TikTok

Their documentation

TikTok allows 6 posting requests a minute per account, and caps the number of creators who can post through an unaudited application at 5 a day. Captions are limited to 2,200 characters.

  • 360 calls per account per hour

TW

Twitch

Their documentation

Twitch publishes schedule segments and channel updates rather than posts, and gives no per-post metrics.

X

X

Their documentation

X bills per call: $0.015 a post, $0.20 when the post contains a link. The credit weights pass that cost through. X also caps 100 posts per 15 minutes per account and 10,000 posts a day for the whole app.

Their limits

  • 400 calls per account per hour
  • 10000 per day across every Xairo account

  • Post with a link60

YT

YouTube

Their documentation

Google allows 100 uploads a day for the whole application, not per user, and raises it only after a compliance audit. This is the tightest limit in Xairo and the reason uploads are weighted at 8 credits.

  • 100 per day across every Xairo account

Not offered

Snapchat — Snapchat has no public publishing API. Xairo will not offer a Connect button for it.

How the meter works

Before each network in a publish, the app reserves the credits that publish will cost. If the network accepts the post the reservation is committed; if it fails the credits come straight back. A reservation that never resolves, because the machine slept or the network hung, is released automatically after fifteen minutes. You are never charged for a post that did not go out.

Two of these limits are shared rather than personal. YouTube grants an upload quota to an application, not a user, and Reddit rate-limits per application. When one of those is the binding constraint the app says so explicitly, because the fix is to wait rather than to upgrade.
